Biography and practice
She spent a year as a visiting researcher at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and held her first solo exhibition, My Thoughts Are Breaking My Hair, in Copenhagen in 2018. That year she also undertook a six-month artist residency in Iceland.
Her practice examines sanctity, motherhood, nourishment and the enclosing roles attributed to the female body. A work titled Oedipus’s Birthday Cake was included in Kunsthalle Mannheim’s Mother exhibition in 2021 and entered the museum’s permanent collection.
